Quality Manager(Corrugated Box experience) |Kaisha Packwell Pvt Ltd

Role & responsibilities (Candidates from Corrugated box manufacturing companies are preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control Oversight:
   
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the quality control team to ensure that the products meet required quality standards.
• Monitor the production process to ensure that it adheres to established specifications and procedures.
2. Inspection & Testing:
   
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials, processes, and corrugated boxes.
• Ensure that the products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., strength, durability, and print quality).
3. Quality Assurance Programs:
   
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs to improve production processes and product quality.
• Create detailed reports and maintain records of quality audits, test results, and inspections.
4. Process Improvement:
   
• Identify areas for improvement within the manufacturing process to increase efficiency and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies.
5. Customer Complaint Handling:
   
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, and lead efforts to resolve issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers if quality issues arise with the products.
6. Training and Development:
   
• Provide training to production staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and proper handling of materials.
• Ensure that all personnel are aware of quality procedures and the importance of maintaining high product standards.
7. Compliance & Documentation:
   
• Ensure the company complies with all relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, such as quality manuals, certification documents, and inspection data.
8. Reporting & Analysis:
   
• Prepare and present reports on product quality performance, trends, and any non-conformance issues to senior management.
• Analyze quality data to track performance and recommend improvements.
9. Supplier Quality Management:
   
• Monitor and assess the quality of raw materials and components supplied to the manufacturing process.
• Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure the consistency of incoming materials.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
• Experience in corrugated manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and quality control procedures specific to corrugated materials.

Experience:

• At least 10-15 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in a corrugated box manufacturing or production setting.
• Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration for continuous improvement.

• Ability to handle pressure, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
