System Administrator

Job Title: System Administrator - Travelling required - Two wheeler Must.

About Us:

K12 techno service pvt ltd., is seeking an experienced IT Engineer/System Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer systems and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

1. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.

2. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

3. Ensure system security, backups, and disaster recovery.

4. Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support.

5. Monitor system performance and optimize as needed.

Network Administration:

1. Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.

2. Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).

3. Ensure network security and connectivity.

4. Troubleshoot network issues and outages.

IT Support:

1. Provide technical support for hardware, software, and applications.

2. Respond to IT helpdesk requests and resolve issues promptly.

3. Conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and technologies.

Project Management:

1. Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

2. Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions.

3. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Security and Compliance:

1. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.

2. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

3. Implement security patches and updates.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation.

2. Generate reports on system performance, security, and usage.

Requirements:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

- 2+ years of experience in IT engineering and system administration.

- Experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Unix operating systems.

- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in:

- Microsoft Active Directory

- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

- Cloud services (AWS, Azure)

- Network security appliances (firewalls, IDS/IPS)

- IT service management tools (ITIL)

- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)

Soft Skills:
