Direct Tax Assistant (On Contract)

Role & responsibilities

• This job opportunity is in the direct taxation team of commercial business.
• The job profile will broadly include the following:
• Assist with the preparation of tax filings, provision for tax, advance tax workings
• Assist in the preparation of tax audit reports, transfer pricing report and related documentation
• Maintenance and monitoring of tax records and documents
• Assist tax team members in preparing reports for internal teams
• Coordinate with various departments (like finance and accounting) for tax-related data requirement
• Conduct basic research on tax laws, rulings, and regulatory updates
• Assist senior tax team members in preparation of tax assessment related submission
• Keeping track of tax queries received from investors and assist senior team members in responding to the same
• Assist in preparation and filing of FATCA / CRS report.
