As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in ensuring smooth store operations, achieving sales targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of store performance. This role involves a mix of sales, operations, team management, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Sales & Customer Experience

• Drive sales and achieve revenue targets through effective customer engagement.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Educate customers about pet products, nutrition, and services offered by JUSTDOGS.

✅ Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Assist in store merchandising, visual displays, and stock management.
• Monitor inventory levels, minimize shrinkage, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
• Ensure proper billing, stock audits, and adherence to company SOPs.

✅ Team Leadership & Staff Training

• Support, guide, and train store staff to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist in performance monitoring and reporting to the Store Manager.

✅ Promotions & Community Engagement

• Execute in-store promotions, pet events, and customer engagement activities.
• Build strong relationships with pet parents to drive loyalty and repeat business.

✅ Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure store adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain daily reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational challenges.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in pet care, FMCG, or lifestyle brands.
• Passionate about pets and customer service.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage store operations efficiently.
• Experience with POS systems, billing, and inventory management is a plus.
