Engineer/Junior Engineer - NPD (Plastic Injection Moulding)

• APQP Documentation: Weekly updates of APQP documents and time plans for customers.
• PPAP Documentation: Preparation and ongoing updates of PPAP documents.
• RFQ Review: Review and sign off on RFQ files.
• Feasibility Studies: Conduct product feasibility studies and prepare reports for sign-off.
• Design Queries: Address design team queries and obtain customer approvals.
• DFM Approvals: Secure DFM approvals from customers and internal teams.
• Design Review Participation: Actively participate in design reviews.
• IMDS Updates: Regularly update the IMDS.
• Capacity Assessment: Assess project capacity requirements.
• Production Runs: Oversee significant production runs or pilot builds.
• Tool Monitoring: Monitor and verify tool dimensions before trials.
• Trial Coordination: Coordinate trials and optimize processes.
• Material Planning: Plan and follow up on bought-out materials and technical clarifications.
• Customer Coordination: Handle customer interactions for audits, visits, trials, and validations.
• Project Review Meetings: Conduct meetings with management to review project status.
• Handover Meetings: Lead project handover meetings and issue relevant documents.
• Drawing Release: Release controlled copies of drawings for production.
• ERP BOM Management: Create and update BOM in the ERP system.
• ECN Updates: Update ECNs and secure necessary customer approvals.
• Fixture Design Verification: Verify and discuss fixture design concepts.
• Packaging Evaluations: Evaluate packaging solutions.

Required Experience & Skills:

1) Experience of working in an organisation with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications
