Junior Associate

Requirement for a Junior Associate for a law firm known as Judicare Law Associates (Sole Proprietary Firm), 303, Yusuf Building, Opp. Zara, Flora Fountain, Fort, Mumbai 400 001.

1. Qualification: Applicants possessing LLB Degree or any degree of similar stature can apply. Candidates must have knowledge of computer applications like Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.

2. Experience: Min. 3 4 years from the date of registration as an Advocate with proficiency in drafting legal documents. Candidates with more experience shall be given preference. Candidates with higher level knowledge of Marathi language shall be preferred.

3. Salary: A remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- per month will be paid depending upon experience or to be decided at the time of interview.

4. Residential Requirement: Preference would be given to Applicants who reside in close proximity of the above-mentioned office address.

5. Candidates who have worked as trial lawyers at Courts like Mumbai City Civil Court, Court of Small Causes at Bombay alongwith experience in dealing with High Court matters shall disclose the same as an addendum to their CV.

6. Office Hours: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, 6 working days in a week.

7. Probation: A candidate selected after the interview shall be on probation for a period of 6 months from the date of joining.

8. Notice Period : In the event of departure from the Firm, the candidate shall serve a notice period of one month which is to be given to Mr. Sagheer A. Khan in writing. In case of termination of services, candidate shall be informed one month in advance.

9. Duties: Any candidate applying for the position would be directly assisting Mr. Sagheer A. Khan, sole Proprietor in drafting, preparation of matters, research, etc. Professional proficiency in English is a compulsory requirement.
