IT Delivery Manager

Job Summary:
The IT Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of IT solutions, services, and projects to meet business requirements. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of IT programs, and delivering value through efficient project management. The ideal candidate has a strong background
in IT project delivery, leadership, and communication skills to align business needs with technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Delivery: Plan, execute, and manage the delivery of multiple IT projects and initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, testers, and other IT staff, ensuring effective collaboration and resource allocation
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are managed, and that progress is communicated regularly
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that potential issues are proactively addressed
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance processes and ensure that deliverables meet the required standards and business needs
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve delivery processes by incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and best practices

• Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and service providers, ensuring their delivery aligns with business and project requirements.
• Financial Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that financial goals are met
• Agile Methodology: Utilize Agile or other project management methodologies to ensure flexible, adaptive, and high-quality project outcomes

Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or IT delivery roles
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) are preferred
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles, and delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps)
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale IT projects
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee and mitigate potential delivery issues
• Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Attributes:
• Experience in managing cloud, digital transformation, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively

Additional Responsibilities:
• Contribute to strategic planning and provide insights on improving overall IT service delivery
• Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all IT delivery processes
