JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Officer Port Operations

Position Name: Senior Officer Port Operations

Reports to: Port Operations Head (JSW Minerals Trading Pvt Ltd)

Location : Mumbai

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators):

Vessel nomination
CHA management
PDA processing & settlement
CIMS / SIMS processing
IGM / BE Filing
Custom assessment & clearance
DP Inspection reports
Stevedore negotiation & appointment
Stevedore monitoring
Cargo discharge monitoring
Controlling cargo handling loss
Daily TM report aggregation & moisture control
Lay time processing
Cargo security appointment & monitoring
Cargo tarpaulin covering & monitoring
Monitoring day to day functioning of port personnel
Any other issue that involve paperwork / fieldwork

Soft Skills:

NEGOTIATION SKILLS
COMMUNICATION SKILLS

The company is good but unfortunately, the management is third class.

Dislikes

Poor leadership of higher management. If you are dedicated to the job then you are useless. They don't understand the team's meaning as they believe in the group. If you want to survive, then do only housekeeping and cleaning, no technical expertise is required. Harassment and demotivation are the key factors.
