SAP B1 Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP B1 Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of the SAP B1 financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, etc.) in alignment with company and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Financial Process Optimization: Assess and map business requirements to SAP B1 functionality, recommending improvements in financial processes and controls to optimize workflows and ensure accurate reporting.
• Customization of Financial Modules: Customize SAP B1 to meet the unique needs of the finance department, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (such as Sales, Procurement, and Inventory) and external systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all SAP B1 configurations, processes, and reports comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations, including financial reporting requirements, tax laws, and international standards (such as IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support the creation of customized financial reports and dashboards, leveraging SAP B1s reporting tools to provide timely and accurate financial data for management decision-making.
• Training & Support: Provide training to finance and accounting staff on SAP B1 functionality, helping them effectively use the system for daily operations. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve system usage.
• Data Migration: Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to SAP B1, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP B1 system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure that financial processes continue to function as expected.
• Internal Controls & Security: Work with the finance department to design and implement internal controls within SAP B1 to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
• System Maintenance & Updates: Collaborate with the IT team to manage SAP B1 updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure the financial modules are current and compliant with regulatory changes.
