OTS Solutions - Laravel Engineer - PHP Frameworks (4-8 yrs)

As a Laravel Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend systems and API endpoints using the Laravel framework.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, responsive applications and ensure best practices are adhered to throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Laravel.

- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

- Develop and manage database schemas using ORM and migrations.

- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure quality.

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Laravel applications.

- Work with version control systems (Git) and participate in code reviews.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Laravel and PHP.

- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 4+ years of experience with Laravel and PHP development.

- Proficiency with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (Vue.js/React experience is a plus).

- Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is a plus.

- Knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git.

- Understanding of security and data protection practices.

- Experience with deployment and continuous integration processes.
