John Cockerill Hydrogen (JCH2) has Global footprints and to supports its International and domestic operations we are looking for an Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation Manager (EAI-M) to be based in Mumbai (India) office. The EAI-M will be responsible for planning, leading, and providing engineering/technical support for a large Projects. Needless to mention, the EAI-M will be a key member of JCH2 team to achieve operational excellence and support the growth objectives of the organization globally.
Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation Managers currently having experience in in EPC / Design engineering organizations with similar profile in oil & gas/Energy/Heavy engineering space would be preferred.
Key Result Areas
Lead a multi-disciplinary (Inhouse or Engineering subcontractor s) engineering team for successful execution of Green Hydrogen product development and project follow-up (from FEED to Plant start-up & client handover) with in predefined schedule and cost budget.
Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers and technicians, fostering their professional development and aligning their skills with business needs.
EAI-M will work in tandem with Headquarter EAI-M and acts as a primary interface point between John Cockerill (JCH2) Indian team and John Cockerill Global teams, being technology and execution team, or local partner, vendors, Engineering subcontractors, and client for seamless flow of information and on time technical resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for electrical design for feeding stacks (AC/DC conversion).
Responsible for the design of all instrumentation, cabling and control philosophy for each product.
Responsible for electrical design in EPC projects.
Oversee and coordinate resources within in-house EAI team, responsible for the team load management.
In cooperation with EAI-M, develop product roadmaps, guidelines for projects and standardize studies.
Technical point of contact with the customer and other internal & external stakeholders of the project.
Finalizing the requirements of applicable local, international, regional rules & regulations - key focus on Ex rules.
Finalize the list of applicable codes and standards to be followed for the FEED & Detail engineering phase of projects.
Define requirement of engineering software s, tools, and methods for completion of engineering.
Define the engineering scope split between in house engg teams and external engineering subcontractor as applicable.
Define list of documents to be submitted for PMC/Client approval.
Finalize list of packages, equipment s etc. falling on critical milestones and prepare a schedule for their ordering.
Finalize list of vendor document for each package /equipment s required in Information and approval category.
Lead and organize technical review
Education and Experience
Graduate in Electrical, Instrumentation, Power Electronics or Automation Engineering from a reputed university. Post-graduation will be an added advantage.
10 to 15 years experience in large engineering / project / process / heavy engineering industry with an exposure to Multinational environment.
Good process background
Experience in the Oil&Gas sector is a competitive advantage, including relatives codes & standards
