Role Description :

The purpose of hiring a manager for Operational Technology (OT) security is to ensure the protection and resilience of critical industrial systems and infrastructure against cyber threats.

An OT Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security strategies specifically tailored to OT environments, which include industrial control systems (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other systems that manage industrial operations.

This role is crucial for :

- Risk Management : Identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks that could disrupt essential services and operations.

- Compliance : Ensuring that the organization meets industry standards and regulatory requirements for OT security.

- Incident Response : Developing and managing incident response plans to quickly and effectively respond to security incidents.

Qualifications :

- Risk Assessment and Management Implementation of Security Controls.

- Security Policy Development and Enforcement Continuous Monitoring and Threat Detection Vulnerability Management.

- Development of Incident Response Plans Incident Detection and Monitoring Incident Response Coordination Containment and Mitigation / Root Cause Analysis.

- Risk Identification / Risk Analysis and Evaluation Risk Mitigation Planning Implementation of Risk Controls Monitoring and Reviewing Risks.

- Conduct yearly/half yearly audit at every plant to verify compliance to standards.

- Track observations to ensure timely closure.

- Facilitate external Audit and audit by customers etc.

- The OT Cybersecurity Manager is primarily responsible for decisions related to the security of IOT environments, such as industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and other OT infrastructure.

- IEC62443 : establish all best practices to govern ISMS change.

- Application Security and Vulnerability Assessment expertise.

- Cybersecurity and Network Security skills.

- Experience in Information Security domains.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred.
