Senior ION Platform Support Analyst

Essential Skills and Responsibilities : Key activities and decision making areas

• Experienced ION system consultant along with development experience is required to join our front office development team responsible for building and Integration the Credit /Rates trading platform.
• Experience of the entire ION stack including Daemons, Routers, Refdata, MMI, custom field development, D2C and D2D gateways, Bloomberg MData (Bpipe), PXE, CTS, VMO, VMO_spread, VMQ, MMS, Autohedger, STP, Tradeserver , SDP, Position and risk servers, Trvet/Poskeep, Entitlements server, Excel plugin, Perfmeter, ITAS and the ION Stress Tester.
  Strong understanding of FI markets across cash, futures and swaps including in-depth understanding of the various workflows; pricing, quoting, RFQ negotiation, STP, settlement and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in supporting inhouse developed eTrading platforms and integration points.
• Experience in supporting ION Marketview, ION PXE, ION gateways and custom pricing components.
• Extensive experience working in ION technology MMI/SysAdmin, TPRM, D2C and D2D workflow.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise grade software. Good knowledge of test driven development and experience using agile development practices. Knowledge and appreciation of automated unit testing
• Engage with the trading and sales desks to provide support for all aspects of pre and post trade execution
• Extensive experience working in ION technology MMI/SysAdmin and Front Office trading systems and processes, Pricing and Risk Management
• Interface with senior support and development personnel to recommend solutions and initiate corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot application and data related errors

Nice to Have Skills - Working experience in ION API Java development and interface with ION Sysadmin and MMI. 10+ years of application development experience in developing distributed mission-critical Trading or Transactional Analytics systems based on core Java and Java EE.
