As a Placement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the careers of our talented BTech students. You will be responsible for identifying potential hiring partners, building strong relationships with recruiters, and facilitating the entire placement process, ensuring our students secure coveted positions in leading tech companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Identify and source top-tier tech companies offering high-paying software, tech, and data roles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and HR professionals at target companies.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and engage top talent.
- Screen and shortlist candidates based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Prepare and conduct technical interviews, group discussions, and other selection rounds.
Placement Process Management:
- Coordinate and manage the entire placement process, from initial outreach to final job offers.
- Schedule and conduct placement drives, workshops, and training sessions to prepare students for interviews.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students on resume writing, interview preparation, and negotiation skills.
- Track and analyze placement statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
- Proactively address client inquiries and concerns, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for our students, including compensation packages and job offers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the IT industry.
- Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in high-paying tech roles.
- Strong understanding of the tech industry trends and hiring practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
