JOB TITLE: Legal Head

OVERVIEW:
The Internal Legal Head will oversee all legal aspects related to real estate title searches,
ensuring the company's compliance with legal standards and protecting its interests. This
role requires extensive experience in real estate law and exceptional analytical skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct and oversee comprehensive title searches to verify property ownership and identify any encumbrances or legal issues.
• Review and interpret legal documents, including property deeds, mortgages, and title reports.
• Provide legal advice on real estate transactions, ensuring all deals comply with local, state, and federal laws.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel, surveyors, and other real estate professionals as needed.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the legal department to ensure efficient and accurate title search processes.
• Manage and resolve any legal disputes related to property titles, including litigation if necessary.
• Ensure all legal documents and processes adhere to regulatory requirements and company standards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Proficiency in English and any other relevant languages (e.g., Hindi, Kannada) to effectively communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders.
• Possess expertise in drafting various documents such as JDA, GPA, SPA, Sale Agreements, Sale Deeds, and Partition Deeds.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on title searches and property transactions.
• A valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
