The company has identified the need for a talented PR Communications Manager to be based in our Hyderabad office. This position will play an important role in the development and implementation of our public and media relations strategy, with a focus on the integration of PR and media activities with the overall brand strategy of the business. The brand strategy will position the company as a leader in the private aviation sector with aircraft, products and services that appeal to India s high net worth individuals, industrialists and other target customer segments. The PR Communications Manager will lead the company s efforts to tell the story of the brand in such a way as to appeal to these target segments, by leveraging the high profile of the company and its founder and the media s strong interest in the progress and affairs of the business. The role will report to the General Manager Marketing, who will set the goals of the PR strategy within the overall marketing strategy of the company, but will have considerable autonomy in the execution of the annual PR plan and based on their experience will be expected to advise the company s senior management including the founder and CEO in the management of media interest and coverage of the business and the brand story.
This is an important role within JetSetGo Marketing team and the PR Communications Manager will work will on a cross-functional basis and with the management of all departments, as well as its senior leadership. The role will develop and implement a plan for internal communications that will ensure staff are kept informed and motivated, and inspired by the company s brand mission. The role will also manage the relationship with an external PR agency and direct the work of the agency in the achievement of agreed goals, targets and activities, reporting to the GM Marketing and senior management on coverage and targets achieved.
Proven working experience of not less than 5 years in public relations required
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
Exceptional writing and editing skills with English at a very high standard
Capability to work on short deadlines and under pressure
Solid experience with social media including LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
Event planning experience
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
MBA in Marketing, Journalism or Communications any related discipline will be preferred.
