Job Description:
The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager, with over 10 years of experience in F&B operations and
at least 2 years in a managerial role, is responsible for the overall operations of the food and
beverage department. This role ensures the highest standards of service, profitability, and team
performance, encompassing the management of daily operations, staff leadership, quality
control, and the implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
o Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquet
services, and in-room dining.
o Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
o Monitor service delivery to maintain consistent guest satisfaction.
2. Staff Leadership & Training:
o Recruit, train, mentor, and manage F&B staff.
o Conduct regular team meetings and briefings to communicate goals and updates.
o Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for growth and improvement.
3. Financial Management:
o Prepare and manage the F&B department budget, ensuring cost controls and
profitability.
o Analyze sales and revenue reports, identifying areas for growth.
o Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for cost-effective procurement.
4. Menu Development & Quality Control:
o Collaborate with chefs and mixologists to design menus that align with customer
preferences and market trends.
o Ensure consistent quality in food and beverages served.
o Monitor portion sizes, presentation, and overall product delivery.
5. Guest Experience:
o Address guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
o Implement strategies to enhance the dining experience, including special
promotions and events.
o Stay updated on industry trends to offer innovative experiences.
6. Compliance & Safety:
o Ensure adherence to local and national food safety regulations.
o Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all F&B outlets.
o Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial
role preferably with reputed brands.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends and industry best practice.
