Senior Research Associate, India Oil&Gas and Chemicals

We have an opening in our team for Senior Research Associate to work with the team on the Oil&Gas and Chemical stocks. This position will be based in Mumbai.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor industry data and market movements to update on impactful events and assess their implications on the stocks under coverage.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and valuation of companies across various sectors using a variety of methodologies including DCF, relative valuation, and precedent transactions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company earnings and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Lead Analyst to refine investment theses and recommendations and produce well-structured equity research reports
• Participate in conference calls and meetings with company management and industry experts to gather in-depth understanding and insights.
• Support the team in responding to client queries regarding research findings and market developments.
• Interact with selected clients on investment ideas

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in equity research in Oil&Gas and preferably Chemicals
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise research reports.
• Knowledge of databases and tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and FactSet is highly desirable.
• Educational qualification - MBA or CA
