Job Description

Position Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer / Asst. Manager

Department: Hydro Electric Department

Purpose Of the Position: For take care off hydro electric function in subject of designing, costing, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning of hydropower plants.

Job Summary: Play a key role in Hydroelectric function during project operation and maintenance. Testing, designing and modifying controlling system.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop hydro electrical systems components for hydroelectric power plants.
• Troubleshooting and resolve electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with the industry standards and safety regulations.
• Develop & design hydroelectric power plant design and equipment.
• Condition assessment of hydroelectric equipment's and power plants.
• Testing and commissioning of hydroelectric project.
• Strong understanding of electrical power system, power distribution, switchgear automation and power system controls, Generator, AVR etc.

Technical Skill:

• Knowledge of hydro power plant design, O & M, maintenance concepts etc.
• Understanding process of power hydro power plants and integration related issues.
• Strong knowledge of designing of hydroelectric equipment's.
• Proficiency in conducting electrical power system studies.
• Sound knowledge of project execution.

Soft Skill:

• High degree of problem solving, analyzing and decision making.
• Self-driver with positive attitude.
• Excellent customer care skills and good commercial awareness.
• Strong communication skills.
• Leadership

Experience:

• Minimum ____13-15___ years of experience in hydroelectric function in power industry.
• Experience in maintenance, designing, project commissioning especially in power industry.

Qualification: Minimum qualification required is Master / Bachelor Degree in Electric Engineering.
