Cashier

Role & responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and digital payments, ensuring all payments are recorded.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and offering assistance with product selections.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
• Monitor cash drawer to ensure it contains an appropriate level of currency and reconcile at the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with team members and support various in-store tasks as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling, security, and customer interactions.
• Ensure a positive and efficient checkout experience for customers.
