Java Developer

About the Role:

We seek a skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This position is in-office and requires daily attendance at our Kochi location. Native Malayalam speakers with a good command of the English language preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Java and related technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using the latest version of Spring and Spring Boot.
• Work with NoSQL databases and ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Implement and manage build automation tools like Maven.
• Utilize IntelliJ IDEA for development, debugging, and testing.
• Maintain code integrity using Git version control.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
• Stay up to date with emerging Java technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Java back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Git, and Maven.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, web services, and API design.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns.
• Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• A self-starter attitude with a desire to continuously improve and learn.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills within a team environment.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
