Head of Analytics (10-18 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Analytics to lead our analytics team, drive innovation, and contribute to the growth and success of our product line. This role involves leveraging data science, machine learning, and business strategy to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Exposure to and experience with new Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced AI technologies will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists, analysts, and machine learning engineers.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and improvement.

Data Strategy and Management :

- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Oversee the collection, storage, and integration of data from various sources to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Innovation and Product Development :

- Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities for data-driven products and services.

- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate advanced analytics and machine learning into existing and new products.

- Stay abreast of and implement Large Language Models (LLMs) and other cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance product capabilities.

Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning :

- Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science and machine learning to ensure the team leverages cutting-edge techniques.

Business Strategy and Insights :

- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute data-driven business strategies.

- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Performance Measurement and Reporting :

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of analytics initiatives.

- Develop and deliver regular reports and presentations to communicate insights and results to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and engineering, to understand business needs and deliver analytics solutions.

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications :

Education : Master's or higher degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience :

- Proven experience (10+ years) in data analytics, data science, and machine learning.

- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of analytics professionals.

- Exposure to and experience with new Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced AI technologies.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

- Expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Business Acumen :

- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate business objectives into data strategies.

- Experience in developing and executing data-driven business strategies.

Communication :

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
