Key Responsibilities

Application Development:

Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to meet the needs of clients and users.

Design and implement new features and functionalities as per project requirements.

Database Design and Management:

Work with MySQL or other relational databases to design and optimize database schemas and queries.

Implement secure database interactions and manage data effectively for performance and scalability.

Integration and API Development:

Develop and integrate APIs for third-party services or internal tools.

Build and manage RESTful APIs to enhance system functionality.

Integrate with external APIs, ensuring smooth data exchange.

Bug Fixes and Performance Optimization:

Troubleshoot and debug issues in applications, ensuring timely resolution.

Perform application performance tuning and optimization to improve load times, response times, and efficiency.

Version Control and Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, back-end developers, and project managers.

Use version control tools like Git to manage codebase and collaborate on version control workflows.

Security Best Practices:

Follow security protocols and best practices in coding, ensuring that applications are protected against threats such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.

Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Documentation:

Maintain clear documentation of application functionality, code, and technical requirements.
