Assistant General Manager/ Deputy General Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager - Finance & Accounts will be instrumental in managing and supervising the financial and accounting operations of the plant. This role entails ensuring precise financial reporting, adherence to regulatory requirements, and efficient cost management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting practices and strong leadership to support the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risk.
• Manage financial record-keeping and enforce data integrity and compliance through internal controls.
• Monitoring inventory cost, analyzing production cost ,and preparing financial analysis for manufacturing plant.
• Direct the audit process and work with external auditors to resolve issues and ensure timely completion.
• Implement cost-control strategies to manage expenses in line with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management to align financial objectives with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• CA(Semi-Qualified) or Postgraduate in Finance/Accounting.
• 12+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 7 years in a senior managerial role within a manufacturing environment at the Plant level.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting in the manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in ERP/Focus accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and internal control frameworks.
