Job Description
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
- Manage garden equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring they are well- maintained and properly used by the maintenance team.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for staff and visitors. Identify and address potential hazards.
- Having excellent knowledge about plants & fertilizers.
- Ability to Handle multiple teams
- Supervise and guide a team of gardeners and maintenance staff, assigning tasks, providing training, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor and address the health of plants, trees, and shrubs by diagnosing and treating diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Plan and implement seasonal tasks, such as planting, mulching, leaf removal, and snow removal, to keep the garden well-maintained throughout the year.
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of plant care, pruning, irrigation, and pest control.
- Ability to operate and maintain garden equipment and machinery.
- Physical fitness for outdoor work, including lifting and manual labor.
Must Have
- 05 - 07 years of Experience in maintenance work and an eye for detail
- Knowledge and interest in plants and trees
- Confidence, flexibility and ability to cope under pressure and with changing priorities.
- Excellent customer care skills; ability to respond to a range of customer needs and cultivate strong local relationships
- Driving License would be an advantage
- Preference - Candidate stay at pune.
- Gardening/Landscaping experience and / or knowledge and interest in plants
