We are seeking a Consultant to join our fast-growing Digital Investigations & Discovery (DI&D) group in Mumbai, India. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Investigative Data Analytics team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional analytics professionals. The ideal person for this role will need to have a strong grasp of data science, fraud, and risk analytics, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker who is able to take on a variety of challenges. This position is designed for candidates with a passion for data analytics as this person will be working 80% of the time with data and the other 20% in e-Discovery and forensic work.
As a member of the Investigative Data Analytics team, you will be applying your expertise and advising our clients. You will be responsible for applying data analytics techniques to a variety of forensic problem domains. You will also be relied upon to develop and execute innovative and bespoke solutions to address our clients needs.
Job Responsibilities
Utilize knowledge of databases and programming languages to assist our Senior Director in the analysis and interpretation of data, including historical financial, operational, and transactional data.
Identify, research, and organize information to assess the quality of data to facilitate effective analysis, identifying any potentially sensitive content.
Create, prepare, and validate analyses, reports, presentations, and other deliverables regarding project scope and results of work performed.
Responsible for supporting day-to-day project activities, including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms, and client staff.
Work on investigative Data Analytics engagements when needed, in the domains of fraud investigation, litigation support, deals, economic crime, and risk.
Use a combination of data analytics, data science, technology, and presentation skills to deliver insights to our clients.
Work in conjunction with other DI&D teams to provide data analytics expertise to Cyber, eDiscovery, Information Governance and Digital Forensics projects.
Assist in the preparation of reports, budgets, and recommendations on client engagements.
Support a senior director with client activities, ensuring effective communication via email and phone calls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in a STEM discipline, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics with Python and SQL coding / scripting responsib
