DevOps - Associate Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will work extensively on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, manage on-premises servers, and contribute to improving our development, deployment, and operational workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Server (on-premises).
• Manage and support on-premises server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Demonstrate strong Git expertise, including branching strategies, tag management, and handling multiple environments. This role requires problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge of containerization and cloud concepts.
• Write SQL queries to support database-related operations.
• Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for task automation and problem-solving.
• Work with Docker commands and concepts to manage containerized applications.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Provide insights on cloud deployment strategies and on-premises to cloud migration.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies.
• Proactively work on the schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: BTech/Degree/Diploma with relevant experience or certifications.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Server for CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Git workflows, including advanced branching and tagging.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Docker concepts and commands.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of cloud architecture and on-premises application architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with on-premises to cloud migrations.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, etc
