DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Itobuz Technologies, you bring technical expertise and a passion for successfully adopting DevOps tools and practices in a Cloud environment. A problem-solver at heart, aiming to disrupt the current status quo by automating and optimizing DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Development, and Operation teams to automate the build, test, and deploy process.
• Decide on and put into practice the safest and quickest method for getting code from development to production.
• Responsible for the smooth operation of a company's IT infrastructure.
• Linux administration skills, preferably in Debian and RHEL.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and cloud technologies and demonstrate troubleshooting and debugging ability.
• Responsible for implementing processes throughout the systems development lifecycle using Google-recommended methodologies and tools.
• Build and deploy software and infrastructure delivery pipelines, optimise and maintain production systems and services, and balance service reliability with delivery speed.
• A DevOps engineer must have a deep understanding of development and operations processes and a strong technical background.
• Should have good knowledge of scripting and automation, cloud technologies, version control, configuration management, and security.
• Should have a problem-solving attitude and team spirit.
• Responsible for designing and implementing DevOps solutions on AWS, Azure, Google, private cloud, etc.

Requirements:

• Must have a degree in either IT/ECE/CSE.
• A minimum of 2-3 Years of relevant experience is needed.
• Good understanding of MongoDB and other NoSQL database metrics from a performance monitoring perspective.
• Hands-on experience with database performance analysis and scaling.
• Experience with Openshift, Kubernetes, Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, Shell scripts, and Travis CI.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience with distributed application concepts and DevOps tools.
