Procurement Specialist

Role & responsibilities -

• Sourcing and procuring: Researching potential vendors, evaluating supplier offers, and negotiating contracts with vendors
• Managing inventory: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and managing inventory levels
• Maintaining records: Maintaining records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Preparing reports: Preparing reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Coordinating with warehouse staff: Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Attending trade shows: Attending trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to[1]date with industry trends
• Maintaining relationships: Maintaining advantageous relationships with suppliers and managing disputes
• Reviewing quality: Reviewing quality of purchased products and discussing defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendor
• Import Material: Moisture and Quality Checking in All Varieties

Preferred candidate profile -

• Relevant experience in waste paper buying
• Hands on experience on SAP MM and prior experience in stores
• 5-10 years of experience in procurement in pulp & paper industry
