Role & responsibilities
- Responsible for executing assigned checklists, special user requests & adhoc/bulk Job processing requests in the shift.
- Responsible for timely execution and monitoring of all backups, tracking the same till completion.
- Responsible for monitoring of email alerts.
- Responsible for escalation to Shift in Charge, System Supervisors for any discrepancy in the daily executions
- Responsible for timely logging of Snow calls for incidents.
- Responsible for adhering to the audit deliverables of DPC .
- Ready to extend shifts during any emergency and to work in 24*7 shifts.
- Responsible for timely escalating unresolved P1 and P2 Incidents to defined escalation levels as per escalation Matrix.
- Ensure to perform each task in checklist and cross check if any special request or any adhoc job to be executed on call log basis without any error or delay.
- Ensure to monitor the backup as per the agreed time and as per the job dependency. Ensure that after executing the backup it should come in writing mode to complete in defined time frame.
- Email tracking to be done in shift on timely manner to ensure and capture all the scheduled activities, instructions and information w.r.t desk wise Applications and all emails information to be shared with next shift handover person to avoid skipping any activity.
- Timely escalate to Shift in Charge and System Supervisors for any job failure or run time exceed or any abnormality found during checklist activities execution. Ensure to log call id for each incident.
- Call id to be log for each incident like job failure or run time exceed and ensure proper closer comment to be updated in call id.
