Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications(SAP FICO-Techno_Functional) to join our Financial Systems CBS eSAP -CAT IT Division

This position as IT Analyst 1 is to help our business achieve its strategic objectives by enabling the delivery of new capabilities. As an information technology expert who can plan and design enterprise business solution to maximize business value, create flexibility for change and accelerate business outcome to help achieve digital finance transformation. Thus, candidates for this role will require a breadth of skills.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, PSN.

This position as IT Analyst 1 is to help our business achieve its strategic objectives by enabling the delivery of new capabilities. As an information technology expert who can plan and design enterprise business solution to maximize business value, create flexibility for change and accelerate business outcome to help achieve digital finance transformation. Thus, candidates for this role will require a breadth of skills.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Experience in Solution Design and development for SAP IT FICO projects.
• Experience in writing understanding financial requirements
• Applies broader view to the solutions to support adoption of standard practices and reusability.
• The individual must possess strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. This role also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Provide strong techno functional expertise on accounting, Finance, SAP modules like MM,SD,FICO.
• Strong Application integration knowledge with other modules like WMD/Xsuite, DigiGST, Tax solutions etc.
• Lead the issue resolution process with globally located Caterpillar IT support teams and external partners.
• Share functional knowledge of IT solutions with business partners to support their operational performance.
• Collect and document functional requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
• Experience in IT implementation projects
• This is an individual contribution role.

What you will have

• Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or Equivalent education with at least 3+ Years of experience (MCA, B.E / B Tech / M Tech)
• Experience in the following technologies SAP-FICO, SAP-MM, SAP-SD, WMD/Xsuite, DigiGST.
• 3 to 5+ years experience in SAP FI/CO/AR/AP/Asset Management / Profitability Accounting/ Cost Center
• Involved with 1-2End to End SAP Project Implementation in-depth experience on SAP finance projects.
• In-depth finance business experience as a consultant working on SAP planning, design and implementation projects i.e. must have worked with the business and not only IT
• To be able to effectively communicate and relate to Finance senior and executive management at a client
• Experience working with multiple vendors and strong accounting/Finance implementation/support experience.
• Sound knowledge of SAP implementation projects.
• Experience with designing and configuring the SAP FICO system
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills.

Key skill:

• SAP FICO Techno- Functional consultant with 3 to 5 + years of experience

Skills desired:

Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Level Basic Understanding:
Describes basic elements and benefits of core applications supported by own area.
Names the organizations core application systems.
Names major business functions and services supported by core applications.
Locates and uses relevant documentation for core applications.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Basic Understanding:
Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving.
Describes problem reporting and escalation practices.
Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution.
Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area.

Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
Level Basic Understanding:
Describes basic activities and deliverables associated with application design.
Discusses technical architecture relevant to own environment.
Identifies technical application architecture standards and considerations.
Names the specific tasks, activities and deliverables of technical application design.
