Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with solid technical experience in setting up and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
Requirements:
- AWS: 3+ years experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, IAM) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
- Excellent understanding of Docker, Containerization and Orchestration
- Excellent understanding of GIT and automated deployments
- Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
- Scripting Skills: Strong scripting (e.g. Python)
- Strong automation skills, experience in build tools like Jenkins
- Operating Systems: Windows and Linux system administration.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools
- Excellent understanding of environments like apache, ngnix with an emphasis on the implementation of best practice cloud security principles
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
- Networking: Understanding network topologies (IP Tables, firewalls, etc) and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
- Experience in Artisan CLI, Laravel applications and their deployment is a solid plus
- The Candidate must have good communication skills and should be comfortable taking phone/video calls with EU based employees.
