Electrical Planning Engineer

1. Project Scheduling:

• Create and maintain a detailed project schedule, including timelines and milestones.
• Allocate resources (manpower, materials) based on project needs and site conditions.

2. Tender Document Review:

• Review project documents and submit necessary approvals (TDS, samples) to clients.

3. Material and Manpower Management:

• Identify and allocate materials and manpower as required by the project.
• Ensure timely ordering of materials that may have long lead times.

4. Progress Tracking and Reporting:

• Work with the project team to track progress and update schedules.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the client.

5. Variation Management:

• Identify project changes and prepare variation statements for client approval.

6. Coordination with Teams:

• Collaborate with design, procurement, and other departments for smooth execution.

7. Material Reconciliation:

• Coordinate with the project team to track material usage and ensure proper reconciliation.

8. Project Handover and Closeout:

• Prepare all necessary documents for project handover and closure.

9. Budget and Time Management:

• Ensure the project is completed within the approved budget and timeline, addressing any issues that arise.Role & responsibilities

Requirements:

• Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying project risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
• Strong analytical skills to track project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
