Location: Hyderabad
Job Description:
1. Financial Strategy & Capital Planning

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with the companys Infrastructure development goals.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and the Board of Directors on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and company performance.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function to support business decision-making.
  • Optimise Capital allocation between ongoing and new infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor return on investment (ROI) and ensure alignment with stakeholders' expectations.

2. Project Financing & Risk Management

  • Identify and Secure project financing, Debt Equity structures, Bonds and Syndicated Loans.
  • Lead negotiations with banks, financial institutions, private equity, and government bodies to secure funding.
  • Develop risk management frameworks to address project delays, cost overruns, and regulatory risks.

3. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and other applicable regulations.
  • Oversee all audit activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee audits, and ensure financial transparency for public stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

4. IPO Management, Investor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead the preparation and execution of the IPO process, including drafting prospectuses, liaising with underwriters, regulators, and legal advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and other statutory requirements related to the IPO.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial disclosures and documentation necessary for the IPO.
  • Manage investor relations and communications during the IPO process.
  • Work closely with external auditors and investment banks to ensure smooth execution of the IPO.
  • Represent the company at financial roadshows, investor meetings, and public forums.
  • Build and manage relationships with institutional investors, government partners, and regulators.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, financial performance, and risk mitigation efforts to the board and investors.

5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee treasury functions to ensure adequate cash flow and liquidity for large projects.
  • Optimize working capital and ensure efficient handling of payments, collections, and funding requirements.
  • Manage multi-year budgeting and forecasting to align with project lifecycles.

6. Team Leadership & Digital Transformation

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Drive the adoption of digital tools (ERP systems, project management tools) to improve financial processes and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Exposure in infra will be added advantage
  • Experience in handling the IPO process in India, with a deep understanding of SEBI regulations will be given preference.
  • Extensive knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind. AS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with investors, regulators, and the Board of Directors.
  • Readiness for minimum 3 years of commitment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
