Accountant - Investment Team -Singapore

Role

The incumbent will support our portfolio accounting and financial reporting functions.

He should have strong accounting fundamentals and a keen interest in investment-related activities.

Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Reporting:

• Accurately update trades in a cloud-based investment management software.
• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.

2. Portfolio Reconciliation:

• Reconcile portfolio trades and balances with banks and custodians.

3. Portfolio Reporting:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed portfolio reports and analyses for management review.
• Assist in ad hoc financial tasks as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• CA Inter or a Bachelors degree in Accounting /Commerce / Business (Accounting or Finance specialization preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience. Exposure to investment-related accounting would be an advantage.
