What we are seeking - An Analyst or Associate to join the Infrastructure and Industrials sectors focused investment banking coverage team.
Responsibilities
- End to end involvement in transactions including sector coverage, identification of opportunities, pitch book preparation, transaction origination, deal collaterals preparation, coordination on the preparation of the relevant sectors of the DRHP, financial modelling, valuation & structuring, preparation offer agreements, coordination to manage and expedite the diligence process, negotiation & finalization of documentation, transaction closing etc.
Requirements:
a) 2-4 years of experience in front-end Investment Banking (candidates with back-end experience need not apply).
b) MBA (Finance) from top 10 B-schools or CA.
c) Hands-on experience in preparation of pitch books, IM and detailed financial models.
d) Strong understanding of the financial concepts, valuation mechanisms, ratios and multiples.
e) Sectoral experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, or industrials sectors preferred.
f) Strong written and oral communication skills.
g) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
h) Ability to multi-task under time-sensitive environment.

1. Higher compensation as compared to the Industry
1. Unnecessary work on weekends just because it is Investment Banking 2. Mandates come from top leadership....no real coverage banking 3. Highly rude, egoistic, insecure and envious people at top leadership 4. Exploitative behaviour, office politics, gossips, talking behind backs, etc. Won't recommend this even to my worst enemy
