Assistant Professor For Agronomy

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate students in agronomy courses, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions.
  
• Develop curriculum materials for new courses or programs related to agronomy.
  
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate agronomic principles with other fields like horticulture, forestry, or environmental studies.
  
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of academic policies.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• MS/M.Sc(Science) degree in Agriculture or Ph.D/Doctorate from a recognized university.
  
• 1-5 years of teaching experience at an educational institution or industry setting.
  
• Strong knowledge of agronomy principles, theories, and practices; ability to apply this expertise in classroom instruction and research settings.
  
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse groups including students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
