DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will be operating very large-scale, highly-available Hadoop infrastructure supporting many-Petabytes of data and growing very rapidly. You will be a key part of the design, architecture, instrumentation and delivery of a massive data platform empowering our products.
As a member of a cross-functional team, you'll have the opportunity to solve challenging operational problems across a broad range of manufacturing services. You will be leading innovation by exploring, investigating, instrumenting, recommending, benchmarking and implementing data centric technology solutions for the platform.

Job Description:

• Implementing and maintaining robust monitoring, alerting/logging systems to detect issues proactively.
• Managing and resolving incidents efficiently, including root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages and to automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Experience in managing and scaling containerized applications such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in messaging system - Solace Appliance(Physical and Software), Flume , Kafka.
• Experience in managing Data stores such as Elastic, Druid, HDFS, HBase/Google Big Table.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries.
