About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), and AWS to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for our cloud-based data platform. You will be responsible for building scalable data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
• Develop and maintain ELT processes to ingest and transform structured and semi-structured data.
• Optimize Snowflake databases, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Automate workflows using AWS services (e.g., AWS Lambda, S3, Glue, Step Functions).
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, event streams, and databases.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high availability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with AWS services like S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
