Job Description

Ideally we need people with these general skills for them to train up and understand D&S: Understanding of RFC Connections Understanding of IDOC processing Understanding of Force Element (Org structures) The ability to perform some of the following tasks:
Manage the System Landscape - tell what instance/client acts as the central system and which ones are the remote servers and know which parameters to use Create roles and assign authorization objects - need to know which roles are needed with which authorization objects
Create users Assign users to roles Activate ICF nodes Manage users in the MAIF Administration Console Manage users in the MAIF
Configuration Console Run ABAP reports - specifically know which technical and business value to use Assign MAIF specific number ranges
Manipulate Disconnected Remote Server specific table settings using table views
Publish OData V4 Service Groups Conduct client/system copies to create remote server instances/clients Plant activation of the material ledge post copy Complete the Accounting conversion post copy
Create and manage trusted RFCs Manage number ranges for transactional objects Add Fiori apps to Fiori Launchpad Groups
Conduct initial data distribution that are subscription independent using ABAP reports Setup a mirror of FM Derivation rules from the central client to the remote clients Create variants of ABAP reports which include parametric time variables -
know what technical and business parameters to use Create periodic background jobs Create sufficient business data to test basic distributed maintenance and distributed replenishment features work properly Conduct initial data distribution from the central client to the remote server using the
Manage & Monitor Subscription - create subscription, perform data derivation, transfer data, and data check out steps Diagnose the conduct of the initial data distribution using the MAIF
Administration Console, background job status, etc Execute a range of business transactions to test the delta distribution within the landscape
Create/Change Maintenance Orders and Notifications, Create/Change STRs, STOs, OB, and GIs/GRs Diagnose the distribution of business transaction and related Change Protection tokens using the MAIF
Administration Console, background job status, etc Apply notes, and related manual steps
