Job Description
- Sr Mainframe Storage 100 % REMOTE5+ years senior level experience working Mainframe Storage DASD AND TAPE replication
- Must be familiar with the concept of data replication with Experience in Copy Service Manager Senior level knowledge of mainframe storage management environments like DFSMS, FDR/ABR, CA-1, DFRMM or equivalent
- Experience supporting Disaster Recovery within a mainframe environment
- Understanding of migration of data from one subsystem to another for DASD AND /OR TAPE Need experience with configuration of IBM DS8000 series or Dell PowerMax functions
- Experience with Logical and Physical storage management Must be familiar with the concept of data replication ( Copy Service Manager or DSCLI ) OR similar products for Dell PowerMax ( good knowledge of Unisphere)
- Dell DLM/DD (need to be able to interact with Mtree on DD) Experience with TAPE - TS7700 grid knowledge and configuration- a plus Experience with TAPE COPY ( Rocket or 21st Century) or COPY CAT OR Dells TAPE replication products Experience with TDMF or FDR/PAS ( have executed either of these processes in the past (for moving from one subsystem to another)
