Plant Head Manufacturing

1. Production & Operations Management

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Implement and monitor production schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Optimize resource utilization, including raw materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery to avoid downtime.

2. Quality Assurance & Food Safety

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and ISO.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to meet regulatory and customer standards.
• Address any quality-related issues and drive corrective actions.

3. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

• Ensure the factory complies with local, state, and national regulations related to food safety, labor laws, and environmental policies.
• Maintain proper documentation for regulatory audits and certifications.
• Work with relevant authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.

4. People Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team.
• Ensure proper workforce planning, including training and development.
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

5. Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement

• Monitor operational costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and automation where applicable.

6. Supply Chain & Inventory Management

• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or excess.
• Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to meet customer demand.

7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Implement workplace safety protocols to minimize accidents and hazards.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and waste management practices.
• Conduct safety drills and awareness programs for employees.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling automated food processing equipment.
• Knowledge of QMS systems for production management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
