Job Description
- As a Digital Marketing Intern specializing in SEO and Email Marketing, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing effective online marketing strategies.
- You will work closely with our marketing team to enhance our online presence, drive traffic to our website, and engage our audience through targeted email campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and content opportunities.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
- Assist in developing and implementing link-building strategies.
- Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
- Assist in the creation, scheduling, and execution of email marketing campaigns.
- Segment email lists based on demographics, behavior, and engagement.
- Design and test email templates to improve open rates and click-through rates.
- Analyze email campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure all email communications comply with current email marketing regulations and best practices.
- Curate potential email database using tools like LinkedIn sales Navigator.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mail-Jet is a plus.
- Familiarity with generative AI tool e.g. ChatGPT, Dall-E, Gemini is a must .
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hands-on experience with real-world SEO and email marketing projects.
- Mentorship and training from experienced marketing professionals.
