Role & responsibilities

1)      Maintenance and Repair:

Dry Equipment

➢       Yards visit 2 times a month.

➢       Approving estimates for container repairs in both standard IICL & CW.

➢       Cross checking depot updated estimates with tariff.

➢       Taking HOs approval for heavy damaged units.

➢       Keeping track on under repair units and asked concerned empty depot to repair the same ASAP.

➢       Approving estimates for those units which estimate cost is minimal in order to save cost for company.

➢       Checking photos and estimates for heavy damaged units.

➢       Preparing MNR ANALYSIS report on monthly basis and sending to HO.

➢       Attending empty offloading request of shipper.

Reefer Equipment

➢       Ability to check pre inspection report of reefer equipment.

➢       Keeping track of under warranty unit and liaise with makers for further warranty.

➢       Arrange technician for repair of malfunction live reefer unit in Panindia basis.

➢       Approving estimates for container repairs in both standard IICL & CW.

➢       Cross checking depot updated estimates with tariff.

➢       Taking HQ approval for heavy damaged units.

➢       Keeping track on under repair units and asked concerned empty depot to repair the same ASAP.

➢       Approving estimates for those units which estimate cost is minimal in order to save cost for company.

➢       Checking photos and estimates for heavy damaged units.

➢       Preparing MNR ANALYSIS report on monthly basis and sending to HO.

➢       Import empty reefer, movement and nomination to depots.

2)    Invoice Clearance:

➢       Checking empty depots repair & handling invoices and sending the same to finance for payment.

➢       Checking transporters invoices for movement taken place by transporters from empty depots to terminal.

➢       Monthly IAL (IHD system) volume tally with system.

➢       Monthly MNR billing for both DRY & Reefer basis on HQ confirmation.

3)      Stock Management:

➢       Preparing the Depot Gate In/Out report & forwarding to Commercial/Sales/Customer service to keep them updated on pickups.

➢       Preparing stock report and forwarding to Commercial desk which clearly showing the accurate figures of available stock at empty depot.

➢       Preparing empty longstanding list and forwarding the same to respective empty depots to evacuate the same on FIFO basis.

➢       Keeping track on empty containers lying with shipper in order to serve export detention debit notes to respective shippers on Panindia basis.

➢       Monitoring on Hire, Off Hire & Sublease of containers as per Principals instructions.

➢       Following up for IMPORT longstanding containers with IMPORT dept.

➢       Manage empty repo basis on HQ advise as per BTL (moves and teus).

4)      Movement Up-dation:

➢       Controlling Container Movement on Pan India basis.

➢       Checking Movement Up-dation thru EDI upload & rectifying the errors.

➢       Maintaining Re-Export details & sending to Surveyors for Customs Bond Cancellation.

➢       Linking and Relinking of containers with correct booking nos as per customer request.

➢       Checking empty depots EDIs and following up with them for missing movements.

5)    Re-export Details:

➢       Generating monthly re-export report and cross check with containers which are due for re- export.

➢       Taking extension on containers which are due for re-export but not yet exported out.

➢       Keep tallying records with surveyor report and line reports and ensure same should be online.

6) Cabotage arrangements:

➢    Basis on inventory demand at Gateway port from Satellite location vice versa arranging cabotage movement with various transporter in effective rates.

7)    Bolt seal record on Pan India basis:

➢       Keep tallying of bolt seal record basis on inventory and consumption report on Pan India basis.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Candidate should have excellent communication skills both verbal & written.

2. Candidate should be able to do multi-tasking and meet deadlines .

3. Candidate should have a go getter attitude with virtuous convincing power .

4. Candidate should have sound knowledge of vessel daily operations (vessel movements, documents etc.)
