Job Description
ABAP & BASIS SECURITY - F2F DRIVE - CHENNAI (GUINDY)-8TH FEB , CHENNAI
6 - 7 Years 1600000-1800000 Chennai
Position: Consultant (SAP Basis and Security)
Yrs of exp : 6-7 yrs relevant
Shift :12:30 pm-9:30 pm
Location : Chennai
Strong Communication skills
Ability to do multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
SAP Basis and Security Support: Proven technical support experience in both SAP Basis and SAP Security.
Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with MSSQL and Oracle databases
Version Upgrade Experience: Experience in version upgrades for SAP ECC, Netweaver (ABAP and JAVA), Oracle, and MSSQL
SAP Security: Strong expertise in user, role, and authorization object-level maintenance
Operating Systems: Extensive experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
System Refresh: Proven experience performing system refresh activities, including database-level refreshes.
Audit Support: Experience in supporting both internal and external audits.
Ticketing Tool: Hands-on experience in ITSM/SERVICE NOW
Position: SAP ABAP Consultant
Experience: 6-7 years relevant
Notice Period: Immediate-15 Days
Work Location: Guindy, Chennai
Work from office only. No hybrid / WFH
Skills Required:
1. 6-7 years of ABAP experience.
2. Strong Communication skills
3. Ability to do multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
4. Strong object orientation experience
5. Proficiency in system analysis, design, development and implementation
6. Expert in implementation of various business applications on SAP R/3 environment
7. Extensive working knowledge of ABAP workbench, Data Dictionary, Classical and Interactive Reports using ALV, Dialog Programming, Object Oriented Programming
8. Extensive working knowledge in SAP Scripts, Smart Forms and ADOBE Forms
9. Experience in Data Migration, Data Uploads using BDC and LSMW
10. Expert in building Technical Design Documentation, Test Scripts, maintaining RICEFW matrices and Project/Team Management activities
11. Expertise in ABAP Debugging, Performance Tools, Runtime Analysis, SQL Trace
12. Expertise in development of RFC(Remote Function Call) , IDOCs handling, BDC
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Discuss with Finance department users, understand and gather the requirement, discuss with create Business requirement document, guide the technical team and deliver the required application
2. Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application
issues and providing timely solutions.
3. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of development, system
testing and implementation phases of project.
4. Transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to code, test and debug programs
5. Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and
acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
6. Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
7. Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical
architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLAs.
8. Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well
as providing on call support as required by the team.
9. Handling the tickets / issues from Client and complete in desired timeline to ensure Client satisfaction
10. Prepare understanding of business document , technical specification and testing document for the development
11. Testing scenario document preparation
12. Handling of Transport request for the deployment of the objects developed through the tools like Solman(Solution Manager)
