Job Description :

As a Java Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend solutions using a microservices architecture.

You will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in solution investigation, estimations, planning, and cross-team alignment.

- Design, implement, and support backend solutions (RESTful web services) using Apache Camel integration framework and microservices architecture.

- Implement and promote test automation practices, including unit tests and integration tests, while working closely with the QA team.

- Collaborate in an agile environment through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination.

- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from discovery, coding, testing, deployment, to maintenance.

- Provide support during the UAT phase and address issues during development.

- Deploy and maintain cloud applications using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills :

- Proficiency in Java (version 11+; Java 21 preferred) and the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot).

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud technologies.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

- Strong familiarity with GIT for version control.

- Expertise in testing frameworks like JUnit 5.

- Practical experience working in an agile (Scrum) development environment.

- Code review and debugging expertise.

Additional Skills :

- Proficient in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).

- Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
