Junior Data Analyst - SQL/Power BI (0-2 yrs)

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in SQL and Power BI to translate complex datasets into actionable insights. This role is open to freshers and those with up to 2 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Collection & Analysis : Extract, clean, and analyze data to provide meaningful insights for business decision-making.

- SQL Queries : Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate large datasets efficiently.

- Data Visualization : Create dynamic reports and dashboards using Power BI to present data trends and key performance metrics.

- Reporting : Develop and maintain regular reports for various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.

- Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data integrity by performing data validation and identifying potential data quality issues.

- Ad-hoc Analysis : Perform ad-hoc analyses as required to support various business initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- SQL : Strong knowledge in SQL for querying databases and data extraction.

- Power BI : Experience in creating visual reports, dashboards, and working with Power BI tools.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle complex datasets.

Experience :

- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional) :

- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) or advanced Excel features (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

- Experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a Plus

- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques or machine learning is a bonus.
