DevOps Engineer with Cloud Infrastructure Expertise(AWS)

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and other cloud providers.
• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure using Terraform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and error-free code deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with architectural guidelines, coding standards, and performance requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with best practices and architectural standards.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on DevOps best practices, cloud infrastructure management, and automation techniques.
• Implement solutions for on-premise infrastructure development and deployment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Preferred candidate profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and other cloud providers. This includes experience with various cloud services (compute, storage, networking, etc.) and their integration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in automating cloud infrastructure development and deployment using Terraform. Ability to write, test, and manage Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or equivalent to ensure infrastructure health and performance.
• Strong experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, including automated testing and deployment. Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate system configurations.
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, and RESTful web services. Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and on-premise deployments, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide development teams. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in architecture design

Good to Have:

• Certification in DevOps practices or cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Understanding of disaster recovery principles and the ability to design and implement disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience with implementing backup strategies.
• Ability to implement Helm charts for application deployment is a plus.
