Simplilearn - Risk Analyst (5-6 yrs)

- We are looking for a Risk Analyst to join our team and help identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks to the business.

- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop risk management strategies.

- As a Risk Analyst, you will support the organization in proactively identifying and managing financial, operational, and regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Identification & Assessment:

- Identify, assess, and document key risks affecting the company, including financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks.

- Work closely with various departments to understand and assess risks associated with business activities, projects, and new initiatives.

- Perform risk assessments to evaluate the likelihood and impact of potential risks and assist in determining their prioritization.

Risk Mitigation & Control:

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks.

- Work with business units to ensure proper risk controls and policies are in place to mitigate risk.

- Recommend and help implement changes to improve risk management processes and practices.

Risk Monitoring & Reporting:

- Continuously monitor and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation actions and controls.

- Prepare and deliver regular risk reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key risks, trends, and mitigation efforts.

- Ensure the company's risk profile is regularly updated and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Compliance & Regulatory Risk Management:

- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations, laws, and standards to ensure the company is compliant with all regulatory requirements.

- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal and external audits by managing risks related to audit findings and addressing any compliance gaps.

- Work with the legal team to manage regulatory risks and support compliance efforts.

Risk Modelling & Analysis:

- Use quantitative and qualitative risk assessment tools to analyze risks and provide data-driven insights for risk management decisions.

- Build and maintain risk models and use data analysis techniques to simulate and evaluate potential risk scenarios.

- Perform scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity analysis to assess the potential impacts of various risk events.
