Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Gurgaon
Department: New Initiative & Partnership
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth through pre-sales activities, market expansion, and strategic partnerships within the fintech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
- Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and develop new business leads through various channels, including networking, industry events, and digital platforms.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations. Understand their needs and present tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance our market position and drive business growth.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer journey and optimal solution delivery.
- Market Expansion: Explore new markets and geographic regions to drive business expansion and increase market share.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 1+year of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS or insurance technology sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Willingness to travel as needed
